Message from Our President

Putting smiles on the faces of our engineers and clients

The vision of AP Communications is to put smiles on the faces of both our engineers and clients. In this vision, we are not only particular about "our clients" but also "our own engineers". The idea of putting a smile on the client's face, or more typically, the idea of satisfying them, is surely an ordinary one. And we're not just paying lip service to our engineers by including them in our vision. It's not enough to just hope that our clients will come away smiling: we want our entire staff to take initiative in coming up with ideas that will make that happen one way or another.

As SIers, it's our job to put smiles on our clients' faces by providing them with the technologies, experience, and resources they need. We ourselves need to have the means, the capability, and the experience to carry out this task. In other words, we as engineers need to fulfill the role of "engineer" to the greatest extent possible. To facilitate this, we as a company need to offer a structured environment in which our staffers can learn what they need to learn and experience what they need to experience⁠—the kind of environment that engineers seek but cannot create on their own. When engineers are fulfilled in this way, they're happy; accordingly, they'll make clients happy as well. This is why we have established Putting a Smile On Clients' and Engineers' Faces as our vision, a vision that we as NeoSIers ought to fulfill.

Fulfilling this vision will take a lot of work, and we still have a ways to go. Yet we are confident that it is necessary to build the SI industry and a future for SIers. We hope to realize this vision no matter how long it takes and no matter what difficulties we'll need to face. And we'll work towards that vision not merely by doing what we can but by having it ever in our minds, even if we have to take one step back for every two we take forward. The rest may just be a game against time; but because we never, ever give up, we'll make good on our promises no matter how long it takes.

I am not an engineer myself, but I have been involved in the SI industry for nearly thirty years. And because I like the industry so much, I hope to evolve it for the better, together with everyone who feels the same way, at my company and outside of it. AP Communications will continue on its daily journey towards Putting a Smile On Clients' and Engineers' Faces, and we hope you'll join us in this endeavor.
