We announce the creation of a strategic alliance on December 8 with Mirantis Inc. (headquartered in California), the company that specializes in products, technology and services for OpenStack in order to introduce OpenStack to Japan and accelerate reforms.

OpenStack is the most widely used opensource software to build cloud environments. It has the backing of over 500 companies and 28,000 individuals in more than 170 countries. In Japan companies such as Rakuten and Yahoo! use Openstack for reasons such as fast development of new products, cost reduction and strengthening of internal systems. And service providers such as NTT Group use OpenStack to provide easy-to-access basic cloud resources that are higly trustworthy, and support many platforms and container technologies.
