AP Communications Co., Ltd. has started offering the "Network Load Testing (Throughput/Session)" feature in the Windows application version (EXE version) of the network test automation tool "NEEDLEWORK" on April 30, 2024.
About Network Load Testing
NEEDLEWORK now supports two types of load tests: "Throughput Test" that generates a large amount of traffic to load the network, and "Session Test" that establishes a large number of sessions to put a load on the test device.
Feature Details
Session Test
It establishes and maintains a large number of sessions, allowing the test device to be loaded. It can also be used to verify session failover when the test device fails over.
Throughput Test
It generates a large amount of traffic, allowing the test device to be loaded. Additionally, since packets can be marked with arbitrary values, it can also be used to verify priority control.
QoS / Marking
IP Precedence / DSCP values can be set for each scenario, enabling communication quality checks for each service.
We will continue to add new features regularly in the future.
