AP Communications Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that it has concluded a club sponsorship agreement with the Women's Volleyball Team of J.F. Oberlin University .
The Company believes that by addressing the gender gap across the IT industry and increasing the number of female IT professionals, the industry will become a more rewarding and comfortable place to work for both women and men.
This sponsorship agreement was realized from the perspective of raising awareness of the IT industry among female students and building a candidate pool for future recruitment. The members of the J.F. Oberlin University Women's Volleyball Team are deeply dedicated to their sport, which aligns with our ideal candidate profile: "Individuals who can continue to grow and challenge themselves of their own volition." We expect that their earnest attitude will also serve as a positive stimulus for our employees, providing an opportunity to reaffirm the importance of "a serious commitment to one's endeavors." Furthermore, by being involved as a supporting company, we aim to build connections with the local community and educational institutions through sports. Taking advantage of the geographical proximity to the Machida Campus, we also hope to build a continuous relationship where our employees can go and cheer for them directly at the venue.
The Company will strive to provide long-term support to help create an environment where student athletes can devote themselves to their club activities with peace of mind, while also keeping in view that this connection may lead to future recruitment.
